Four words. A stake in the ground. Certainty is the right word to sell to a company running AI tools nobody approved, on data nobody cleared. It is the best thing on the page.

What I found

Enable AI innovation without sacrificing security or control.witness.ai, the sentence directly under the headline. Read 7 May 2026 (stream prep) and again 29 August 2026.

"Without sacrificing" names something that might be lost. That is a tradeoff, and a tradeoff is the opposite of certainty. The promise gets appealed in the very next sentence.

Unified. One thing. Then the Solutions menu: WitnessAI for Applications, for Employees, for Developers, for Compliance, and since May, for FinOps. Five buyer journeys, five value propositions, one nav. The title says one; the menu says five.

The diagnosis

Decision Decay

You made a positioning decision in the headline and it is a good one. The page then relitigates it twice: once in the subhead, once in the nav. Nobody lied. Every sentence is defensible on its own. Together they take the promise back.

Why it matters

A positioning word is a promise, and a promise that gets walked back reads as a liability. A CISO who spent ten minutes on the page walks into a board meeting with a hedge and a menu. You hold the whole promise in your head. The page holds pieces of it, and every rep and every partner works from the pieces.
